SWOON AND THEN A LITTLE MORE

One of those I'm-dying-a-little-bit-just-by-lookin-at-it-from-the-corner-of-my-eye dresses.
If we'd just manage to throw that wedding party we've planned for the rest of our friends and family that were not with us in Vegas (which is, most of them) I would have the perfect reason...

WEDDING DRESSES

On the coldest day of this winter -which apparently is not over yet thank you very much god damn second round of snow!- I drove up to a pretty location in Tampere to shoot some of my friend's Olivia Rouge's vintage - and rockabilly inspired wedding (& bridesmaids) dresses.

Thankfully I was not part of the ice cold outdoor shoot... although the pictures do look beautiful!

SHOOTING IN THE LIL' PALACE

Today I did the well familiar -I go there often to perform- two hour drive  up to Tampere trough white powdered and beautifully sparkling but oh so cold landscapes. (Too cold to take pictures in, fingers freeze.)

I went there for a photo shoot;  to shoot some wedding dresses for and by a friend of mine. The shoot was in an amazing old house that is still in private ownership (the old lady lives upstairs) but which lower floor can be rented for events.

It's called the "Little Palace" which it pretty much is.

The schedule was super busy and fast so I didn't have the time to walk around and take any well-though photos but I snapped a few ones with my phone.

And perhaps we'll get to take a look at the wedding dresses some time later.

MY SISTER'S WEDDING

My sister got married to my (or, our; they met there) long term harbor colleague last saturday. It was a fine day that went by terribly fast.

Away in a Ford Mustang, oh yeah. (I snagged this one from our friend @Johannesslotte ...)

The party was at a small old ship yard on the sailing club's island right outside of the absolute centre of Helsinki.

My youngest sister, brides maid. They (the bridesmaids) wore similar short versions of the wedding dress.

And yes, I managed to finish my dress in time! It turned out pretty damn good although I of course succeeded in spilling nail polish on it the last minute before the wedding. Oh well, that's life. And, the stain wasn't that bad in the end; tiny as you can('t) see.

COTTON

Today (or, yesterday by now) was our second anniversary; cotton wedding. It's strange to think it was already two years ago that we got married, but then again it feels like such a long time ago too. You know, the way it usually is with memories, hard to place in a proper time perspective.

(I had to look that cotton thing up btw, paper (which is the first anniversary), gold and silver and so on I remember, but not the rest. Well I think no one does -nor cares, hehe- , or?)
